The Asian Yearbook of International Law is a major refereed publication dedicated to international law issues as seen primarily from an Asian perspective. This is a special publication of its kind edited by a team of leading international law scholars from across Asia. The Asian Yearbook of International Law provides a forum for the publication of articles in the field of international law, and other Asian international law topics, written by experts from the region and elsewhere. Its aim is twofold: to promote international law in Asia, and to provide an intellectual platform for the discussion and dissemination of Asian views and practices on contemporary international legal issues. As a rule, each volume of the Asian Yearbook normally contains articles; notes; a section on State practice; an overview of the participation of Asian countries in multilateral treaties; a chronicle of events and incidents; surveys of the activities of international organizations which have special relevance to Asia, such as a survey of the activities of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Committee; and book review, bibliography and documents sections.

Mémoire(s), identité(s), marginalité(s) dans le monde occidental contemporain. Cahiers du MIMMOC est une revue électronique semestrielle en libre accès créée en 2006 par l'équipe de recherche MIMMOC (UR 15072) de l'Université de Poitiers. Les grands axes et la thématique de MIMMOC s'inscrivent dans les structures créées à l'époque moderne par les bouleversements de la fin du XVIIIe siècle : mémoires des traditions multiples après l'effondrement d'une tradition fondée sur le divin ; identités fondées sur la reconnaissance de la subjectivité et de l'autodétermination de l'être humain ; marginalités résultant de l'effondrement des sociétés traditionnelles d'Ancien Régime. Crise, ruptures et continuité de la fin du XVIIIe siècle à nos jours constituent l'objet de nos recherches, qui s'insèrent dans le domaine de la civilisation, de l'histoire, des sciences politiques, des études culturelles.

Why did the European Union experience a stark variation in the levels of conflict between the late 1970s, when budgetary disputes dominated European politics, and the 1990s, when political actors were able to settle upon budgetary agreements without major conflicts? Between 1991 and 2001, the size of Britain's ethnic minority population increased by a full fifty percent. In that same decade, approximately one million immigrants settled in Britain. Similar patterns of migration and settlement are taking place in other European countries, such as Germany and France. The Dynamics of Migration and Settlement in Europe explores the causes and consequences of such massive changes in demography. Researchers at the IMISCOE-Network of Excellence (Immigration, Integration and Social Cohesion in Europe) bring together a wealth of theoretical and analytical research in this collection of essays addressing the many crucial questions that have arisen in the past two decades.
